SCENAR (Self Controlled Energo Neuro Adaptive Regulator) is a healing device that looks like a TV remote control unit and was invented in Russia over 25 years ago for the benefit of staying on space station “Meer” Russian astronauts as they are not allowed to take the drugs or any medication whilst in space.

This type of therapy is referred as an Electrical Neuro Stimulation and involves stimulation of the appropriate skin areas with electric impulses producing similar to a TENS-machine sensation on the skin.
Your practitioner will place electrodes on the desired skin area and then will select the required frequency and set the most comfortable for you amplitude. Once the electrodes are in continuous contact with the skin, your practitioner may start moving these over the required skin area or may keep it there still.
The energy level of treatment is determined individually because every person has his own pain threshold level. It is recommended to have a course of six treatment sessions in cases of chronic conditions. Each session takes 20-30 minutes and is administered in comfortable sitting or lying down position.
